We have launched the crowdfunding campaign to complete the construction of the Craft Laboratory in Alto Chichireni!

In the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, in the Asháninka native community of Alto Chichireni, we are building a Community Craft Laboratory — a space where young people can learn, work, and dream without having to leave their land.

Faced with the lack of educational and job opportunities that push many to migrate to the cities, the idea emerged to create an educational and creative space where tradition and innovation come together — preserving the knowledge of the elders while opening new possibilities for younger generations.

This Laboratory, built with wood sourced from community-managed sustainable forests, aims to become a meeting point for students, artisans, teachers, and families. The project is part of Territorio de los Saberes (Territory of Knowledge), a network of rural schools that integrates ancestral knowledge into formal education, promoting circular economy, cultural appreciation, and the sustainable development of Amazonian communities.

Construction has already begun, but to complete the building and move forward with the training activities, we need to raise €40,000.

That’s why, together with CPS, we’ve launched a crowdfunding campaign — an initiative to invite everyone — individuals, companies, and institutions — to join us in making this shared dream a reality.

All of this will be possible thanks to the power of cooperation — the result of collaboration between the community, Semillas, and various national and international organizations that believe in the value of education, culture, and sustainability.

Join this initiative and help us make it happen!
