With the Primary School in Jerusalén de Miñaro, we added one more seed in the landscape of educational institutions in rural areas of Peru. Each school built represents for us and the community a chance to grow and improve, such as association, team and people we get in touch with.
Proud to share with all of you our work, we invite you to have a look at the Semillas Portfolio updated to 2017.
“For all those people who believe it is necessary for the imagination to have a place in education; for all those who trust in the creativity of children; and for all those who know the liberating value of the word. ‘Every possible use of words should be made available to every single person’ — this seems to me to be a good motto with a democratic sound. Not because everyone should be an artist but because no one should be a slave.“
